We believe the Bible is the plenary verbally inspired Word of God, penned by holy men moved by the
Holy Spirit, without error, and is what we preach and practice. We use the King James Bible for our
ministries.
We believe there is one, and only one, true God (triune - God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Jesus
was virgin born, God in the flesh, gave His life and blood on the cross for us, was buried and rose
again the third day, ascended back to heaven, and is coming again in the air for His saints. Following
this begins the seven year Great Tribulation, ending with Jesus returning to earth to rule for 1000
years. We are dispensational in theology.
We believe in the Genesis account of 6 literal days of creation by all Persons of the Godhead.
We believe all men are born sinners, only able to be saved by grace through faith in Christ alone,
which involves repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This salvation is of God,
by man’s free will, and is eternal, totally apart from any work of man to obtain or retain it. Salvation is
not mere profession of faith, but possession of faith, and it brings a changed life.
We believe in a literal hell (the lake of fire) where all lost mankind will spend eternity and a literal
heaven for the saved.
We believe in separation of the believer from worldly activities and ecclesiastical affiliations. The
believer is to live a holy life unto God by His Spirit’s power and control. This includes music that
honors Christ. Self must die for Christ to be living in His child.
We believe Satan is powerful, God is more powerful, and will cast the devil into the lake of fire
forever. Saints can have victory and God enables His child to be more than a conqueror.
We believe that civil government is of divine appointment, and the authorities are to be prayed for
and obeyed except in things opposed to the Word of God. Christians are to diligently perform our
duties in the three God-ordained institutions - family, government and church.
We believe that a local church is a congregation of saved, baptized believers (immersion following
salvation) associated for the furtherance of the Gospel, is to be self-governing, discipling and
exhorting believers, and sharing Christ with the lost so they may be saved.
This is a mere synopsis of more extensive and detailed Biblical doctrine.
